MBCI worked with the Committee for Geelong to develop a Strategic Planning process that delivered a document that the Committee is able to use to ensure strategic outcomes are achieved.
This process involved the facilitation of a Strategic Planning Workshop with key members of the Committee, corporate and business leaders including Ford Australia and Alcoa, representatives from the City of Greater Geelong, and neighbouring local Government bodies, public utilities, church and not for profit leaders.
The workshop revisited the Vision and Mission, identified the Sustainable Competitive Advantage and the key issues which were taken up by the Task Force Groups to strategise.
The MBCI facilitators were responsive and insightful, assisting the Committee to see new ways of approaching the planning process to ensure ownership across the group. They presented us with a professional process that has enabled us to move forward into the future implementing our vision.
